Free Injury Screens for Lightning Soccer Players
BE Fit is pleased to continue our sponsorship of Lightning Soccer Club. In addition to providing the club financial support, we offer our expertise in rehabilitation to coaches, athletes, and parents through educational materials via the Lightning website. Most notably, BE Fit will also continue to offer FREE injury screening to Lightning athletes and guidance for injury prevention.
Lightning coaches work hard on fitness training and injury prevention, but with any sport participation comes some risk of injury. We understand that acute injuries can be stressful, and it is often hard to know where to turn for more information or guidance. BE Fit’s injury screening services for Lightning athletes can help avoid delays in getting medical advice, keep athletes injury-free and reduce complications when injuries do occur.
Components of the screening process:
Screens are available within 24-48 hours of injury (not including weekends), and can be scheduled by calling our Hanover office directly at (603) 653-0040 or our White River Junction office directly at (802) 359-7400.
Screens are 15 - 20 minute sessions, offered at no cost to the player and no involvement of health insurance.
Each screen is provided by one of our licensed Physical Therapists, all with extensive experience in orthopedics.
The expectation of a screen is to clearly identify the injury, help you with knowledge on how to manage any acute injury at home, and help you make decisions regarding continued soccer participation.
Additionally, we will help you determine whether your condition warrants imaging through your primary care provider, referral for orthopedic consultation, or further physical therapy treatment.
